Painter and jewellery designer.

 

Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and the State School of Applied Art in Łódź, graduating in jewellery and clothes design. Individual and joint exhibitions in Poland, France, Germany, USA and Switzerland.

“Inspired by the Russian tradition of moveable icons - miniatures - I have created my own collection of jewellery, in which images such as religious symbols, portraits or favourite paintings can be concealed”

 

“I paint the miniatures on ebony using the gouache technique, and then cover them with varnish. I use a magnifying glass to ensure greater precision of workmanship. The frame, in the form of a locket (sterling silver), protects the work against damage, while the image is visible through the transparent amber.”

 

We offer made-to-order images in a choice of frames.
